WHEN OUR Brand New KFC Restaurant came to Springfield in 2019
From opening day our Executive Committee met weekly on Sundays following trainings. From here a relationship was built with the new management team. The opportunity to work together was always going to be a natural pairing. The Pandemic hit and we both felt the impact being the newly established restaurant in Greater Springfield.
An opportunity for both of us to lock arms and support one another saw a partnership evolve with KFC Sponsoring our Seniors giving them Naming Rights

We attended Collins Foods Head Office to meet the owners. going behind the scenes, we saw it all & Met the Colonel as well as receiving individual gifts walking away feeling we are on the right track. We are grateful for this opportunity for this partnership

Alongside our Sponsorship we received $500 in Vouchers which supported our 2020/2021 Junior Break up. We were gifted with stickers, KFC water bottles, gifts, merchandise & much more....
Unfortunately 2022 we experienced a clubs worse nightmare losing 4 Junior teams literally an entire age group. Thankful for our sponsorship money we were able to cover YMCA court hire which was pre booked for the season and year. We then experienced players leave halfway through season once we became an affiliated Association adding Basketball QLD fee.
When the basketball courts closed to be resurfaced we lost players due to this as our Monday comp was moved to a Friday.
We apologise to everyone for these incidents and thank our faithful and loyal members for not abandoning us or our competition.
